I had some new aluminum HED fat bike wheels made by the guys at Elevation and I'm blown away by the craftsmanship of the build and the way the wheels themselves look.
Have been going to this shop for years, new wheel builds, wheel repairs and the occasional tuneup. They go the extra mile to find the parts needed to fix older wheels as well. Great people and reasonable prices with fast service.
Nate trued my wheels before riding Tour D'Afrique. They stayed perfect for the 9,000 km journey through Africa. The wheels survived riding in the desert, jungle and potted dirt roads. Great service!
Chris built me a set of race wheels for my road tandem. Had to make a one off axle to make them work without all those spacers. Did an excellent job in a short period of time. Worked perfectly. Can not stress enough how happy I am with the quality of his work.
